About the exhibition
This touring exhibition was curated by Ancient House Teenage History Club. It explores what it was like to be an LGBTQI+ or queer person in the past. The exhibitions explores LGBTQI+ terminology, symbols and the stories queer people from the past, such as Princess Catherine Duleep Singh and her girlfriend, Robert Carlton, an 18th Century tailor and Justin Fashanu, the first openly gay professional footballer alongside contemporary voices.
The exhibition was produced with support from South Norfolk Council and Kick the Dust - Norfolk, a Heritage Lottery Funded Project.
